Help our students stay warm this winter! The Nova POC Committee is collecting warm winter clothes for Nova students. Please bring in your gently used (or new) coats, hats, scarves, gloves, and other warm winter clothes you no longer need. Clothes are being collected in the hallway to the right of the office. (Thanks POC committee!)

8th Grade Introduction Morning: 9:00 - 11:45 AM (Pre-registration Required).
1st hour: student led tour and "round table" discussion
2nd Hour: visiting 8th graders choose a class to observe
Final 30 min: all 8th graders have a de-brief with the Principal

OPEN HOUSE: JAN 24, 6:00 - 7:30 PM

EXTRA! EXTRA! The Friends of Nova website will be undergoing an upgrade which we hope will be live by winter break. New features will include more readable format, calendar of meetings and events, improved resource links, additional information about FoN, supporting the school, and news articles. In addition, the SPS Nova web pages will be updated by mid-January with teacher bios, and student written info on Nova for prospective and current families. Special thanks to our hard-working FoN communication/marketing team members Kristin Costello, Hugh Saffel, Nico Lund, Marla Chandler, Erin Clan, and Lisa Galarneau.

THANK YOU to all the folks who brought together the crafts and potluck night Wednesday evening at Nova. IT WAS FUN! and the terrariums, buttons, beanies, felting, cookie decorating and food were a big hit. Creme puffs! Thanks to students who sold Nova Rat shirts and hoodies! Students raised about $600. Hope to see you all back for the BIG Craft Fair in the spring!
